Looking for advice on VIDA/DICE Units V70-XC70 2012

Afternoon,

background:

currently own a 2012 Volvo XC70 T6 AWD

Was looking into doing Polestar Upgrade, but decided against it. Will be going with a Hilton Tuning Setup instead.

Will be doing some upgrades in the engine compartment as well, when I do the above.

But, now onto the VIDA/DICE questions.

Looking into getting an official Volvo Unit. Are they costly? I've read that the knock offs from China have been encountering issues and read a tread from Volvo North America that they are stopping them from working or connecting to your volvo vehicles.

What's the deal on this?

looking to do remote start on the car. Heard that the software is already in the vehicle, but the option is not setup on the car.

Looking to do front/rear camera option on the car as well. What will be needed for this to happen? And can it happen?
