Top won't retract C70 2007

Klaus,

I saw that last week and will be bringing the car home to have a go at it myself. I had no idea where the pump was and there has been water in the trunk due to blocked drains around the base of the rear section of the top (under the window and the drains in the body it feeds).

So I suspect that the motor is bad and will confirm once I get down that far. One obstacle, I won't fit in the trunk like Klaus in the video. And by the way, that wouldn't be you, would it?

I've found the motor on Ebay for around $60 and the entire motor/pump, new, for around $1,500 if I need to go that far. A used motor/pump goes for around $300.

Fingers crossed. I get the top and the passenger door handle working and I'll be very happy.
