BATTERY SIZE 850 1997

Shopping for a new battery for my 850.
Stock size is an H5, which has a length of 245mm.
I can pick-up an H6 battery for the same cost & it has a length of 278mm.
The battery tray looks like it's long enough to accommodate the increased length.
Can anyone confirm that the longer battery will fit & work with the stock hold-down clamp.
