Top won't retract C70 2007

Epilogue,

No joy. The motor works but now when trying to lower the top, the windows don't lower part-way as they did before and I get a "Top Failure, Maintenance Required."
Checked the 30A fuse, checked the wiring on the motor.

Add to this, a tree over our driveway dropped a branch which went through the windshield. That's it. I'll have the windshield replaced and sell the car as-is. A 2-door coupe. Time to cut losses and move on. Registration is due and we're paying insurance. Not spending another dime on it.
