I am not sure it the switch needs calibration.  All I have found to date, is the main function of the switch is to shut off the cruise control setting if you brake......When I checked my cruise control it was working properly... If the switch is bad you don't have cruise control.
While troubling shooting I found the vacuum hose from the intake manifold had a 2' split in the hoseand that was hidden where the hose goes under the intake manifold.  I replace that hose and the car seemsto be back to normal (no lights).  It was an original hose on a 2003.  Good luck
