electrical issues V70-XC70 2009

I have to agree with Machine Man. Because the door is ajar light is always on, I suspect the wiring harness from the body to the door is your problem. It is a pain to trouble shoot, but it needs to be done. Before you replace the door/window switch, as a last resort.

In both cases the door card needs to come off. Always better to inspect the wires rather than "assume".
