Hi Klaus,

I got one for a hundred dollars from the local Volvo wrecking yard and have since installed it. Everything is working fine.

The old one had been broken for some time and water had collected around the lower backup?light chamber, destroying the silver paint on the plastic background.

There is a narrow hole about half an inch long and an eighth of an inch wide that allowed the water to enter.

Other than that it has various cracks that could be repaired and perhaps it could be brought back into service.

Given the price of these things it might be worth doing!
