Cleaning the front mounted aftercooler! V70-XC70

My XC70 Cross Country will need the Intercooler cleaned internally due to much oil from the faulty PCV system, since corrected! No doubt removal would be the correct repair along with replacing damaged hoses and sensors.

I performed this on My 745T due to its easy access.

Curious if any BB members have tried cleaning the IC internally while in chassis, I'm thinking mineral spirits and soft flexible hose with regulated air pressure. Well aware that it must end up clean and dry to avoid damage!

My search involved mostly removal of the IC, would welcome tips on disassembly of the bumper fascia, etc.
Sorry for the long post!
