hard start when cold V70-XC70 1998

Anyone who uses the Brickboard is considered a shade tree mechanic. Us free advice givers, are just that. None of us are here to berate anyone, so when I mention spark plugs it is just a reminder to do so. Same with battery voltage.

I like to remove and clean spark pugs, they tell me what is going on in the combustion chamber.

If your exhaust smells rich, then it is probably a leaky vacuum line or a dirty injector. Your car is older than most cars on the road! Be proud of the fact it is still running!
