CEL, rough running, 'reduce speed or shift up.' 125,000 miles V70-XC70 2008

I think that VIDA-DICE is essential from P2 onward with these cars, otherwise your diagnostics are hobbled. I have a Chinese clone DICE unit and there is a WIN 10 compatible repack of the VIDA available now too, so set-up is pretty straightforward. Given that I already had the laptop, this is a very cost-efficient set-up for reading proprietary codes, resetting SRS lights, etc. Around here nobody reads codes for free at parts stores, so my set-up paid for itself after 2 check engine light scans!
