Keeping it, but new problems arising V70-XC70 1998

Thanks to those who gave input, I am keeping and fixing my '98 V70 w/252K miles. I know problems will keep arising, but it's a great, reliable car, and I love being able to do a lot of the work myself. I also love no car payments and the wealth of information available, especially here on Brickboard.

New issue just arose today. I no longer have fobs, so I lock and unlock the car with the key. Turing once unlocks driver's door, and twice unlocks other doors. There's also a switch inside the door to unlock other doors. as of today, the rear doors do not unlock. I ehar something happening inside the door when I turn the key the second time, as though it's "trying" to unlock. I sprayed with silicone lubricant, but no dice. Any suggestions?

Thank you as always!
