If your car is not serviced at a dealer, things like hinges and latches do not get lubricated - I see fresh grease on those parts after dealer service.

I purchased a pretty nice 745 for $100 and one of the hood hinges broke.

If you go to Brick pics - stand by -you will see a hood that looks exactly like mine when the hinge broke because one of the pivots was seized up
