hi jimo,

first you should post your 960 in the rwd section of brickboard.

you need to find the volvo wiring diagram for your model year.
sometimes you can score this book on ebay.

i found the mitchell's schematics on-line, not anywhere as good as the volvo.
email me and i'll send it to you.
if i publish the link, google and/or volvo will make it disappear.

there's a fan relay on top of the radiator with the red wire providing the
+12vdc. there's a fusible link to find and checkout in that red wire.
