ABS Control Module - Recondition Supplier?

Hi Robert,

What, if any OBD codes are there? The system will try to help you diagnose.

I suspect that before removing any Volvo ECU that you should
do as suggested when working with air bags and disconnect the battery negative terminal and wait ten minutes before unplugging the ECU.
I lost an ABS module in my 850 that way I think. I was lucky that Klaus found
a replacement for me at his local boneyard.

I wonder about old ECUs with aging electrolytic caps that might need replacement. Ask your ECU guy about that. Does he replace all the electrolytics?
One 940/RWD Brickboarder, Amarin, replaced his ECU electrolytics which had gone out of tolerance. Finding the right long life caps to replace is most important.

You might try disconnecting your battery overnight to reset the ECUs, and see if that helps.

Happy holidays and good luck, Bill
