Headlights and blinkers, elctrical problem V70-XC70 1998

Hi,

I know nothing about these new cars above the 240 models.
But I will say, the flashers might be working like they are suppose too.

In most cars, if you step on the brakes the emergency flashers (four bulbs) will stop flashing.
Having the headlights on might do the same thing as they are a heavier drain on the battery and they would also diminish the reason for an emergency signaling.

I guess it might come down to the brains built into the cars to where it seems that the manufacturers do not want us to be able to screw things up. Oh, What fun that used to be! 😀

Still enjoying my 240s that leaves me with some natural surprises as they age even more.
In most cases I can just poke around “straight at the problem” and fix it without a thick owner’s manual written in two or three different languages.
