Volvo sells a pair of net reels that clamp onto the top of the seat backs.

You pull the net out of the large side and extend the rod at the top of the net and hook the rod's ends into sockets above the door.

then you pull the net out of the small side and hook it onto the bar.

This net can be deployed with the back seat up or down.

We used this net in out 2012 and our 2008 XC70s.
