Oil change question V70-XC70 1998

I might go to every two years if that comes up before 5K miles.

In any event, if you get lifters ticking, you might change the old then if more than a year has passed.

I say this because one year my Wildlife Biology daughter worked for Ducks Unlimited in Edmonton Alberta (We live in Massachusetts) and because of her remote work area, her oil change was about 1K late when she got home. The lifters started ticking on start-up. About a week after an oil change, the ticking went away and never returned
