Hi,
This is an interesting dilemma you are willing to saddle yourself with.
You are doing a lot of time consuming shopping nose to nose.
Are you retired like me?
I don’t care to go with your line of entertainment but I’ll think on it with you. 😊
I didn’t know there was a $15,000 dollar a year subscription to any software program per user?
That works out to $41 a day use fee. That means the tires must be $10 a piece more than any tire shop on a set of four even if you buy a set and one is free.
That free part is always questionable.
I have a problem with nitrogen filled tires when common atmosphere is about 80% nitrogen and it’s supposedly free. Who buys that equipment?
Oh my, the gaming on newest things that we get tested with.
Do you think that you get a deal or discount when you don’t buy the whole subscription thing?
It doesn’t usually work that way with anything else on low volumes except “clearances” that don’t sell to suckers.
I hope the independent shop has a list of people that need appointments to use that software on?
Don’t you see it’s interesting that you still have those people that speed right on by you? I do!
Are the new cars stealthy enough to not get a citation or does their LiDAR contraption pay the ticket? 🤫
When you say it “clicks” on you, is that just a flash warning as a heads up to pay attention gimmick?
You do know someone has to review those snap shot or CCTV. Hey, it a job not done for free.
We have intersections with cameras in California.
There are there for people out here who cannot stand seconds behind an obstacle, moving or not, more than absolutely necessary.
One MPH driven for one whole only hour only gets you a minute.
What does four MPH get you for fifteen minutes. 15 seconds?
I see people jet around just to jump if front of me to get off at and exit that in a few seconds would have been there for them without an almost reckless maneuver.
Of course, invited them by driving with a safety gap in front of myself. 🤔 for those to busy to keep busy riding with others.
I RIDE pleasurably and don’t make it a job to DRIVE in a frenzy to make payments.
Good luck with finding comfort for your wife as I understand your efforts in finding a compromise.
Phil
