Remote lock/unlock works for a while then quits, comes back, quits, HELP 850 1995

I just bought my 1995 850 Turbo a couple of weeks ago and I have found out something weird on my remote door lock system. Now I don't know if this is related to your problem or something unique on mine. First, for a point of clarification. Does your 850 Turbo have two keys? One for the door and ignition and one for the trunk? Anyway, in order for the remote lock system to work on both locking and unlocking my car, I have to leave the trunk unlocked. Because if I lock the trunk, then the remote control will unlock the doors, but won't lock them. But if I lock the trunk with the key I have, it will lock all of the doors. I haven't had anyone look at this yet, since I am not familiar enough with the car and the locking system to know for sure how it is supposed to work. I thought maybe someone changed the lock on the trunk and somehow messed it up. So maybe if someone out there could tell me first if their 1995 850 has one key that fits everything, that would be a good place to start. But to the question on the remote system not working, try unlocking the trunk and seeing if it will work that way and let me know.
