Squeaky Hood Problem 850 1997

I don't really see how this can be related to the closing of the doors on the car. The hood latches have adjustment bolts for the correct fit which allows the mounting bracket to be raised or lowered. Try moving them some and see if it helps. The fact that the tape you put on wore through would indicate some harder than normal metal to metal contact.
