SC-900 Stereo puzzel.. V70-XC70 1998

Hiya all,

I have a few questions and wonderings. I own a V70 T5M -98 and Im very pleased with it. Now, I have the 3-disc SC-900 stereo in the car, as it was when bought, and where ever I read about it, the Dolby ProLogic Surround is pushed as a big feature beside the RDS/cd stuff.

But what I dont get, is that in my car, the system is not active. At least, I dont have the middle dashboard speaker. Nor do I have the 6-disc changer, but that atleast _is_ listed as an add-on feature.

My questions I would _love_ to get answered:

1) Can one buy the dashboardspeaker and install it NOW? If you cant - what is the cost for a totally new dashboard WITH the speaker missing?

2) Where can one buy the 6-disc cd-changer, can someone recommend a good buy/sell forum for used parts. I can imagine a new one costs way too much.

3) Can anyone explain why Volvo would wanto install the SC-900, which seems to be produced for the surround in mind, without doing the rest?

Thanks in advance,

Niclas
