850 Remotes (Model Year Compatibility) 850 1994

Ebay is where I got the one for my mom's car (that won't work on her car but works fine on mine). I watched for a while, when one came up so-called "new" for a BIN (Buy It Now) price of only $25.00 I jumped on it. Be careful, there are two types for 850s, side-by-side buttons ('93-'96?) or top-to-bottom buttons ('97-'98?).

Now, to figure out why I can't get my mom's '95 850 alarm to program in a remote...any ideas out there in brickboard-land?
