MY CAR IS A LEMON S40-V40 2001

I had the squeak in the brake pedal...grease fixed that. Right now, the car is in the shop trying to get the cruise fixed...haven't heard if they've found out why. The only other trouble I've had with it is my gas guage was off by 4 or so gallons (being fixed while it's in now). I love the car...it drives great and is very safe. I don't mind having to take a car into the shop once in a while in exchange for a safe, fun-to-drive, and durable car...plus this is my second Volvo and I'm a big enthusiast--but, having to take it back time and time again for the same thing isn't right. I don't fault the car...I fault the dealer. The first 2 times mine was in, they replaced stuff that, if they listened to what was occuring when the cruise faulted, they'd know that stuff wouldn't fix it. This past time, they replaced the vacuum pump after I reiterated that I thought that was the culprit. It worked great for 3-4 weeks and started acting up again. Like I said, it's in right now and they're working hard (finally) to find exactly what's wrong and get it fixed right. Maybe they're aware that I'm on the perimeter of the Lemon Law...
