Fuel filter 850 1994

Hey anyone out there considering a fuel filter replacement. I just picked up a Hastings fuel filter...it had a nipple on each end of the inlet and outlet.......after I pulled off the original equipment I found the original didn't have nipples...at least the outlet end...straight pipe. I reinstalled the original. Thanks for a fun night out Southwest Parts! I asked them twice and challenged them when I picked it up..I was looking for some kind of threaded attachment...I don't know why...was my old 240 that way? Anyway, now a full hours drive to Albuquerque to get an original equipment part.
