850 Common problems - one for the books 850 1994

I have a 1995 850 Turbo with about 66K miles which I've owned since new.

I have not ( knock on wood!) had to replace the brake master cylinder yet.

I did replace the rear brake shoes at around 58K and the front pads twice.

Front rotors have been replaced one time so far at 58K.

Trans microswitch has been replaced twice (luckily a very simple procedure for a DIY'er)

No problem with the PNP switch.

I will say that compared to my Toyota minivan, the 850 is a backyard mechanics "wet dream" come true and a nightmare if you have to pay someone to do all the servicing.

That all said, it is an enjoyable car to drive.
