Fault code 410 Secondary air & 116 ECT Switch. Need Help Please!!! S70 1998

Hi,

I took my Volvo S70 T5 to my mechanic and he came up with these codes for my check engine light. Code 410 (Secondary air) and Code 116 (ECT Switch). All he did was reset the check engin light. The light came back on the same day it was reset. I own a Haynes Service and repair manual but it does not give the Fault Codes. I am almost positive thatI could fix these two problems on my own but the Service manual is not real clear about the Seconday Air or the ECT Switch.

Has anyone else experienced this same problem? If so, how did you correct the problems? I would really appreciate it if someone could steer my in the direction of getting this fixed. Is it something that I could do myself?
