3rd row seat

There are a bazillion wrecked 850/70 wagons in recyclers yards. Many have the 3rd seat. Try copartfinder.com, the recyclers under "used parts" under the "features" pull down menu above, or the ads in the back of "Rolling" (the Volvo club mag).

They're usually hardly used. We have an '88 wagon with a 3rd row seat, it's been sat on exactly TWICE in 14 years!

A used seat is much, much cheaper than a new one from a dealer, and not hard to find if you're not too particular about the color.

I also wouldn't recommend spending a lot of time back there. They really are for "occasional" use only!

Just be SURE you get ALL the hardware to attach the seat, and the belts.
