wheelspin S70 1998

I have a '98 S70 T5-M.

If I ever launch the car with a little too much power, rather than spinning, the tires seem to start to bounce a little taking teh whole front end of the car with them. Is this normal? and if so, what exactly do people do to make theirs spin and eventually smoke? (Wasn't planning on it, but was under the impression this was how it was done, though with a bit MORE power) Also, it would seem this would be an instance where tracs should kick in, but I don't seem to notice that it is.

Does anyone have any insight into this? I'm rather curious, as everytime I lay on the gas a little too heavy rather than spinning lightly and not creating the thrust they should the tires do this little bounce and scare the hell out of me (which DOES get me to back off the gas.... but)

Anyways, hope someone understands what I'm saying!

Scott
