Alpine CD changers? 850 1995

The SC-815 will not work with the ai-bus. You need a changer that will work with the older Alpine M-bus. The Alpine units that will work with the SC-815 are the CHM-S601, CHA-S604 and the CHA-S620. The CHA-604 has a M-bus/AI-net switch to choose between the two bus types. If you have a switch like this, you may be able to get your changer to work but I doubt that you would be able to choose disks 7-12. You will also need an adapter like the Peripheral Electronic Inc VOL815D for interfacing.
