Older Canadian XC maybe?

The 1997 850 and early model year 1998 v70 awd wagons were available in Canada with manual transmissions. Only a few hundred of these were brought to the Canadian market. The "XC" was not offered in Canada with a manual transmission. It was, however, available in other markets with a manual tranmsission. Other markets (Europe) also got an awd R with a manual transmission.

Personally, having a manual transmission is an important component of overall driving enjoyment. So, if I want another awd wagon in the future, it will not be a Volvo.
