SERVICE display on dash S70 1998

Hello,
My husband did the oil change himself at 35,000 miles on our S70.
The SERVICE light came on at 35K miles to remind us.
Now after 36,000 miles the SERVICE display still shows on the dash whenever we start the car. Is this something that only the dealer servicing mechanic can reset or is there someway we can reset it to not display until the next due servicing? Will there be a warranty issue?

Thanks,
PK - 1998 5-speed S70
