mods 850 1997

I would agree with the other post. Before you do anything make sure that everything is perfect first. Full tune up, timing belt(if needed I do it at 60K to be safe) brake fluid, coolant, anything that might possibly have been overlooked by the previous owner.

Since you have a turbo, change to Synthetic oil IMMEDIATELY. I am not trying to start a Mobil vs Amsoil war but I run Mobil 1 5w-30 with dealer oil filters. I would also suggest to have your ATF changed also. I changed to Mobil 1 ATF at 70k and even my wife noticed the difference.

Cat-back with a chip is great and a safe mod. Personally I have keptmine bone stock except that I use the Powerslot rotors from IPD.

Buy a G-Tech meter and do some 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs. Then keep us informed of how each mod affected your times and mileage.

Have Fun,
