Alarm system on S80 S80 2000

When the alarm goes off, is it really the car alarm or the panic alarm? The panic alarm is the horn beeping on and off, the the car alarm is a siren with a wailing sound. If it's the horn I agree with Frank, about the remotes. If it's really the car alarm (siren) then it's going to take some work to figure it out, start by going to the dealers so they can check it out.
