newbie, couple of daft questions 850

Firstly, compliments, nice site, easy to use and register.

Secondly, been on the SAAB network for ages (volvo second car), do we get on?

Thirdly, Brickboard? nice, does that mean we are brickies? or something else?

And finally, the daft questions:

1993 2.5 20v GLT saloon 118.000 miles full main dealer SH (UK car)

Do I maintain Dealer history or are good specialists acceptable? looking here at about £100 specialist charge against £190.00 dealer for 120.000 miles service

Oil leak (not discovered at inspection). Is this common? seems to me to be dripping on something hot and providing a burning smell in the cabin.

Exhaust, seems a bit "throaty" taken it to the shop this morning, they said nothing wrong and they'd never replaced one!!! and they do get a bit noisy??? seems odd.

Found how to fix dash light from the board - thanks.

CD boot changer throws up CD ERR message, worth replacing?

I've had the car for 24 hours - and what a well kept secret! should have had one years ago, love it. Wife now in charge of SAAB, I'm here to stay.
