CD changer vs. stock in dash? 850 1993

Hi,

I was about to get the factory in dash unit used since it's such an easy install and will look clean, but after seeing them go for $350-400 used, I'm leaning towards adding an Alpine CHM-S620 in the glovebox. (approx $250 installed)

Is there any sound quality difference between the two setups? Is the SC-815 a higher power head unit than the SC-810?

Thanks.

Warren.
