Key stuck in the ignition V70-XC70 1999

Hi Janet,

My wife and I both experience the stuck key scenario on my 99XC. It turned out to be the key cylinder in the steering column. The Dealer did not tell me the details of the problem but just replaced the key cylinder. My Service Rep did say that the 98s had some defective key cylinders but it was fixed in the 99-model year.

I would chalk your (and mine) experience up to gremlins. I have not had a hint of a stuck key since the key cylinder was replaced over a 1 year ago.

Good luck,

Steven---
