Starter Motor - Average Longevity ?? 850 1995

I have owned 6 Volvos, and never did a starter. Right now I have two 740s, each with over 220,000 miles. My 850's are only puppies with 49,000 and 102,000, so I do not have much experience with them yet.

I DO know that an alternator may be good for around 210,000 miles as both of mine failed within 1000 miles of that figure, one for brushes, one for a bearing. Isuspect that 850s would probably run the same.
