Shaking in front end 850 1995

I have a similar shake but it occurs only on breaking. After some investigation it seem that the my front drivers side ball joint (a-arm) is going bad. This also causes the car to wander somwhat on uneven roads and also un even tire wear. To find out jack the front of the car up and and grab the tire at 3 & 9 o'clock position and see if you have some looseness. If so it could be the ball joint(s) need replacing or the entire a-arm since it is a one piece unit on your year. Good luck
