random stall. what do you think? 850 1996

My 850 just randomly quit yesterday. All I did was punch the gas for a couple of seconds and then she just died. The only way I could start her back up was to spray throttle body cleaner in the intake. She would run for a couple of minutes or miles and then shut down again. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes before she would start again. In between running, the engine spun fine - just would not ignite. Today she ran fine.

I checked the plugs. They look ok - a litlle carbon but not much. Cap and rotor are fairly new. Fuel and air filter are recent as well. The fuel pressure is about 42 psi - that should be ok. No vacuum leaks. Any ideas?

The only other problems I have is that sometimes I have to press the shiftlock to get out of park. Could that affect the running too? Also mileage may have decreased recently.

Thanks for the help.
