I forgot about KONI's 850 1996

And of course there are the adjustable Koni's, I wonder how soft they would be on the softest setting.

I also just got off the phone with IPD (Richard). The do not have a definitive answer based on the feedback they've gotten if the Bilstein's provide a softer ride or not. Some say yes, some say no. Richard also threw out the idea that the OE Boge's get worn after 30K of driving, and that one's ride might improve if new Boge's were installed (and they are cheaper than Bilstein's).

I have a bad feeling there is no consensus on this issue, but I'd love to hear more from people out there who have changed their shocks/struts recently and how if affected their ride.
