homer,
volsospeed already mentioned the gasket, another source is plugged drain hoses. With the trunk lid open, look at the top left and right corners where the rear window meets the body. Between that and the gasket you will see a drain hole, if plugged the water has no where to go and can spill over the gasket. I run a garden hose through the drains 2-3 times a year to eliminate any debris that may collect...
