Vibration when braking at speed 850 1995

Hi, in the last week I've picked up a new vibration when braking from 120 km/h (75 mph)(the legal speed limit). The thing is that I'm used to a steering shake if the disks are warped but this feels more like a shake trough the body and I don't feel anything on the steering wheel. When braking from say 60 km/h (35mph) I don't feel anything. I've checked the front pads and they have about 7 mm left, the disks looks ok (did not check run out) and about I have Bridgestone SO2 wih about 3000km on them all round . I've cheked the tires and can't see any flat spot or any other funny wear patterns. The car is a 95 854 T5R with 110000km's on the clock.
Any suggestions?
