Turning Radius for V70 stinks V70-XC70

>The 1998-2000 V70 models led their class in turning diameter.

What class would this be? There is not a single FWD in my corner of the world that I can compete with. There is a place nearby where a U-turn is the only way to navigate an exit. Hundreds of cars do this u-turn daily, and given the number of times I have to ease over the far curb (when almost no one else needs to), I'd have to say the 98 70-class has a truly pathetic turning radius. This is a real-world, empirical test based on my own observations (and I AM observing), not on someone's published specifications.

(BTW, my 94 945T could do this left lane to left lane around the 3.5-ft center island.)
