Volume on stereo increase by itself S70 1998

Mine has done this when the sun is low and hits the radio
faceplate "just right".

The radio has an infra-red port for use with a remote (the
remote is not sold in North America, I believe) and I think
that is what caused it. I've only seen it a couple of times.
Of course, if this happened when it was dark then my theory
is shot.
