Exterior Trim Delaminating S80 1999

We have a 99 S80 60K with an exterior trim problem. Seems the black plastic like material that covers the exterior outer edges of the doors and B pillar is seperating and bubbling up. Probably a glue or shrinkage problem. The car is out or warranty, but do you think this could be fixed under the corrosion warranty? Anyone experience similar problems?

Pathetic that as much as this car cost, the exterior trim is coming apart so early. Maybe Volvo is using some form of biodegradable glue. BTW, this car has gone through all of the early S80 teething problems; power steering pump replaced, complete transmission replaced, suspension bushing replacement.
