Go for the 91 octane 850

I have an 855R and I put in only 91 octane. My wife puts in 89, but we never put in 87.

If you have just the base model low pressure turbo then I would think that the 89 octane should be just fine. If you have the high pressure turbo then definitely use 89 or above. Check your owners manual and see what it says. It probably states to use a minimum of 87, then states a recommended octane of either 89 or 91.

If performance is a concern then use only 91 octane or above. I notice an increase in power when I use the 91 vs the 89.
