96 850 VSS SOS 850

1996 Volvo 850 Speedo inop.

VST Codes indecate VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)

Manual only indecates position of VSS up to 95.

I can find no location of VSS for the 96.

There is a hole in the gearbox casting for old style but no sensor.

Anyone run accross this???
