Losing my Baby :( 850

Sin, maybe you have reasons that I don't understand or can't appreciate, but I would try an entirely different solution. Rather than provide your 850T to your father, why not look into purchasing an older used Volvo, such as one of the last 240's or a 740 for your father to drive?
If your dad is uninsurable on a 2000 Mazda, what do you think will happen if (rather when) he gets a speeding ticket driving your car?
He would be safe in an older R/W drive Volvo and you will be a lot better off continuing to drive your car than a Maxima. Whenever I see one of these cars, the word appliance comes to mind.
Best of luck. Fred.
