Heater not working properly.... 850 1997

Costas - I have a 1995 850 Turbo wagon and I had the exact same problem. I had the dealer replace the climate control unit ( $800! Thank heaven for extended warranty! ) which still did not correct the problem. The sensors above both doors in the headliner area have been replaced as well, but to no avail. BUT I have found that if I go from "red" down a few notches, the temperature will adjust itself and will blow warm, not hot, air. It seems like it takes it a minute or two to adjust itself. Beats me! Love the car but it is tempermental!
