In a lot of dealerships when you walk in to look at a
SUV you won't see the other choice, a wagon (you might
see a bland mini van, though). Oh, there might be one
wagon model stuck in the back but wagons aren't a strong
seller for many brands. At least Volvo XC90 shoppers will
see some nice wagons (a traditional Volvo strong point)
and that might cause a few to stop and consider one.
